The study and understanding of how we smell is relatively new. Only recently have we learned how our olfactory system actually works. Now we have artificial e-noses and other sensing devices like gas and methane detectors that are highly accurate. The field of sensors is rapidly advancing!
A labor of love
Find Technologies was started to invent a tracking device to combat abduction and to track and return victims of abductions and Alzheimer walk-aways which happen every 4 seconds! It just seems that there must be a better way to find and return lost & missing children, or any lost/missing person. We are working on it.
A personal message
Hi folks, I'm Rick. Sadly, Shawn and I can only work part time on this invention. Its hard to work on this miracle of a project and work our regular jobs too. So, we welcome and appreciate any advice from laymen and scientists alike on theory or inventions that may aid us in the development of the Electronic bloodhound

It wouldn't be right not to mention the King of tracking!
For over 1,000 years these great heroes have found countless lost children and adults. They posses almost miraculous genetics, both mental and physical, perfectly made for following scent. They have over 300 million scent receptors in their noses, 3 times the power of other dogs. The folds in their face capture scent, even their ears play a part, flapping scent towards their nose. These, combined with a unstoppable dedication to the chase, makes them by far the very best tracking dog of all time. They just wont quit! They are fun, friendly, majestic, sensitive, loving, wise and maybe a little stubborn once in a while! Like Alexander Graham Bell modeled the telephone after the human ear, we model our device after the bloodhound. Hopefully our electronic nose will relieve some of their tremendous burden of finding lost/abducted/missing people, and keep these little heroes out of dangerous situations. Until then, we salute (and learn from) these intelligent, dedicated, loyal, hard workers!
